Debut Entry in the Blog World

2

We are all busy with our daily lives, so much so that not only do we forget that there’s something called a social life, but also, sometimes forget that even our own soul needs attention. In my short life span, I have always felt an urge to give back something to the society as and when possible.

Debut Entry in the Blog World

I am visiting this Blog for more than 06 months but in the begenning I did not used to give my comments. No doubt I liked the thinking of Parul. I always thought why he is writing Blog when the purpose is just to scribble down his own thoughts which he could keep in his mind also. But then I felt many times some random thoughts may come into my mind also; like some flash of a camera & before I could capture it was gone. I read the articles like

Importance of mother tongue;

Another World Is Not Possible. Please Join Your Hands & Save Earth;, etc which were really inspirational in themselves and they motivated me to write & to help also in some cases.

I guess I am the most useless fellow on this planet at this moment as I am going to scribble something which hass no topic. or some of you may whip the colour of my face into the Vodafone’s old ambassador’s one that cutie plus ugly dog; whatever u take I don’t mind. Well some days ago I was thinking for a suitable topic to write an article. Then I asked Parul to suggest me a good topic for that;but he did not. Then I said him tht I want to write about my past experiences with ‘DPYS’-® & what I think abt the members;bt he did’nt allowed me to make personal statements on anyone. So I promise you: NO PERSONAL ATTACKS atleast this time __ as I know that all of you are best in yourself..

‘DPYS’-® is not yet registered. Still there are many hurdles in the path.To set up the NGO in J&K, we will have to first Register ourself in the Registrar office of the district under Society registration Act 1860 which requires minimum 7 number of members to sign registration and memorandum of association.

Once we are registered we can start our NGO.If the performance is remarkable grant/aid can be received by various government departments/National Bodies/International organizations etc; however they are given mostly after three years establishments of such societies by evaluating their financial statements and contribution.

The NGO can work at regional level as well as on state level which also depends upon our registration.

==============================

Well now you must be thinking why I am writing all this.. Okk let me explain:

As you well know that our NGO has not been registerd yet. Still there are many hurdles in the registration of DPYS. Money is not the main problem for registration. bt the main problem is absence of members in practical meetings. The no of members active on ground level is much less as I have already said that we need minimum 7 number of members to sign registration and memorandum of association…well the members of our community are trying to get it registerd so that we will get the legitimacy to work for the betterment of our society but there are some hurdles regarding d registration of DPYS i.e the requirement of NON… POLITICAL INVOLVENMENT CERTIFICATE. . Its a very simple process and any member can carry out. It will speed up d registration process. due to this hurdle we were not able to get the sponsors as well. So i hope memebers will come 4ward n ll help in gettng d registration of DPYS

It is easy to share a vision but it takes more than that to realize and implement it at a grass root level. I know that most of you might be fortunate enough to be blessed with a good life. So it becomes more meaningful when we do noble activities and give back something to the society we live in. So it is our duty to help the less fortunate ones achieve the basic standards of life.

============================================================

True to its name, ‘Redefine Jammu’® perseveres to bring in a positive change by uniting the youth who share the common vision of a developed Jammu, and pay back to the society which helped us.
We are all busy with our daily lives, so much so that not only do we forget that there’s something called a social life, but also, sometimes forget that even our own soul needs attention. I think that we need  to give back something to the society as and when possible.

So I personally make a sincere appeal to the youth of Jammu to join our team if you want to be a part of it and share a common dream of a developed Jammu,. We will keep you informed about the schedule of various events [both online & offline]

================================================================

Get Involved in social service activities of ‘DPYS’-® , an NGO in Jammu
Your cooperation and support goes a long way in promoting DPYS’s cause. So I personally appeal to each and every individual to share our philanthropic vision and unite for a common cause and share the dream of a developed Jammu. In our relentless pursuit of a better society I sincerely hope that you would extend a helping hand.

Come and be a part of ‘DPYS‘-®.;==A Vision of Developed Jammu.

At present,we are little limited to Orkut and Facebook. You can Join us and be a part of this movement. We need your support. But don’t forget that We will be limited only to these sites. We have started doing some work on grounds too.

What else can you expect me to write here./. coz I don’t know much about DPYS as it ‘s very short time since I joined it. So this is the 101% of what I can write __ & how can I forget to thank Parul who motivated me and helped me a lot; changed my way of thinking in every aspect of life:: THANK YOU VERY MUCH

Hey, yo yo….I need to stop here. Too much now, as my fingers wanna take some rest and you know what? I have not shared the reality of the “Youth of Jammu”. It is better to keep the mouth shut as I can’t afford to take decent words(or u may call it abusive!) by the Young Guns reading this.
Thing is that all of the above lines were written just on a lighter note as it was present in my mind. I wanna tell 1 thing before ending please call it acceptance rather than ‘tell’. God! young guns are always adamant in accepting the things honestly.

I am very disordered person when it comes to time-table. Hope I will make it someday :) :)

So now I have entered in this virtual world with my random thoughts to share. Hope I will continue this for a long period assuming that this ephemeral world is not going to lost as shown in 2012 flick. If that happens, then I will need to do time travel to past to experience blog writing; but hope that will never happen..

A deep breath in and then a deep breath out ~!!~ pheww…. <~ Thanks to Baba Ramdev ji, I love him ~>

Double Face of Congress Exposed Again

9
When the whole world was celebrating International women’s Day on 8th of March,2010.The central govt. was soliciting Women’s reservation Bill(33% women’s reservation in parliament) in Rajya sabha and was able to pass that bill with good margin.

congress ka Hath logon ko bewakoof bnane ke kam

congress ka Hath logon ko bewakoof bnane ke kam

Passing of women’s reservation bill in The Rajya Sabha was like a milestone in the history of India.
Although,personally I am against any type of reservation.There should be only one reservation and that would be for economically weaker class.This is the different thing that what type of reservation should be there.
At that time,So called secularist Congress (Dont know on what basis our biased media projects this party as a secularist),was busy with religious fundamentalist and pro-pakistani PDP (People’s Democratic Party),in proposing an article by which they can put some restriction on the women of Jammu Kashmir. Thanks to one of so called great Congressi leader from Jammu,Raman Bhalla had given his approval to the PRDB bill. The Permanent Resident Disqualification Bill (PRDB) was introduced in the JK assembly. The bill seeks to disqualify women from their status as permanent residents of the state if they opt to marry a non-state subject.
Significantly,if some non subject woman marry a State Subject Man,that non-subject woman can enjoy all the rights what a State subject enjoys.
This is not for the first time that Congress proposed this bill, they proposed this bill in March,2004 as well when they were in power with the help of Pro- Pakistan People’s Democratic Party. At that time, this bill was passed in the assembly without any discussion in just 6 minutes. This controversial bill created a hue and cry in whole India, which makes Congress to think once again on this. And that makes Congress to cancel the  bill.
The more funnier thing happened  in JK assembly when The Finance Minister Abdul Rahim Rather In his Budget speech, announced 25 per cent relief in stamp duty in case a woman was named the owner of a property. Besides, the Finance Minister announced that no VAT (12.5 per cent now) would be charged on feni or femian sewiyan consumed by women on particular occasions.
Why they are trying to send confusing signals not only to women of JK but for every single person  who born  on this earth?
He further added that “It is the age of women empowerment. The Women’s Reservation Bill has been passed by the Rajya Sabha and the fairer sex in the state should be empowered more. The ownership of property will make her financially, socially and legally strong to stand for her rights.” However, when a woman journalist asked him how could the government talk of women empowerment when it allowed the tabling of an anti-women Bill, the Finance Minister said the Bill had not been passed. He said,“It is a private member’s Bill and we want to expose the Opposition via debate on the issue“.
Women have always been a position of respect in the Indian society and are treated with full dignity by Indian men.Even today, there are many noteworthy women administrators in our country. But why Congress want to put a stop on the democracy a common Jammu Kashmir woman should enjoy without having any fear of loosing JK’s PRC status.

Sonia Gandhi, who was teaching Lalu Prasad Yadav few days back in parliament that he should support the Women’s reservation Bill in Lok Sabha because he is having 7 daughters. Its easy to advice others,As per Mahatma Gandhi,Be the Change you wish to see in others. Will you advice the same to your Congressi leaders like Raman Bhalla,Saifuddin Soz,etc. that they should oppose this draconian bill instead of proposing every other year?

Plastic bags are everywhere and Everyday, we are handed countless plastic bags.Yes, sometimes, plastic bags are convenient, as they are water resistant and light and inexpensive compared to paper bags.

But Here are some questions we should ask ourselves whenever we are handed a plastic bag: -

  • Do I need to take as many plastic bags in supermarkets?
  • Do I need a plastic bag for an item purchased that is already well packaged by the manufacturer?
  • Could I bring my own shopping bag when making purchases?

Plastic bags are the cause of major environmental concerns. Most of them go straight to our landfill and

a very small percentage of plastic bags are actually recycled.

Here are the reasons why you should limit your consumption of plastic bags:-

Because of their light weight, plastic bags fly easily in wind, float along readily in the currents of rivers and oceans, get tangled up in trees, fences, poles, and so forth, and block the drainage.

Plastic bags are made from a non-renewable natural resource-petroleum. The manufacturing of plastic bags contributes to the diminishing availability of our natural resources and the damage to the environment from the extraction of petroleum. Most plastic bags are made of polyethylene – more commonly known as polythene – they are hazardous to manufacture and are said to take up to 1,000 years to decompose on land and 450 years in water.

Countless plastic bags end up in our ocean and cause harm to our marine wildlife, who mistakenly ingest plastic and choke in plastic bags that is floating around. It is estimated 100,000 marine mammals die each year because of plastic litter in our ocean in the North Pacific. Land animals also to be victims as well. In countries such as India , cows mistakenly ingesting plastic bags on the streets as they are scavenging for food and end up choking or starving to death, as plastic cannot be digested. There is virtually no market for recycling plastic bags.your local supermarkets collect used plastic bags for recycle, very few are actually recycled.Whereas, most paper bags are made from recycled paper

During the last few years, status of environment instead of improving has gone from bad to worse. Without elaborating upon what went wrong? How and Why” I would like to invite the attention of the common public to pollution in River Tawi. Jammu city may be the only city in the whole of India which is associated with the name of river Tawi. Raja Jumbo-lochan laid the foundation of this city after having witnessed drinking of water by a Panther and a goat from the same Tawi River. Thus people of Jammu have got cultural, religions and social connections, attachment with this river, but their indifferent insensitive behaviour and life style has resulted in severe pollution and even survival of this river is in great jeopardy.

The river is being polluted by throwing of garbage, discharge of sewage, chemical effluents, open defication, silt from degraded catchment, washing of vehicles etc. It has an adverse effect on fish, animals and wild animals and habitations using this water for drinking, agricultural or any other use.

The hard facts like population explosion, mismanagement in the disposal of sewerage water of the old city and lack of awareness among the people have contributed a lot for spoiling clean and fresh Tawi water. The ‘deliberate ignorance’ on part of certain agencies and the attitude of escapism has further aggravated the problem.

It is unfortunate that despite J&K High Court directions and several notices by the State Pollution Control Board, Jammu Municipal authorities and the UEED have failed to take necessary measures and stop direct flowing of old city drain waters and garbage to river Tawi. A little effort by the Municipal authorities two years back, by launching a micro ‘ Clean Tawi project’ could not yield any fruitful results. The PCB authorities had reportedly served atleast 3-4 notices to these two main civic agencies regarding proper management of sewerage water which is highly polluting the Tawi river water, serving as the lifeline for the people here.

In Bangladesh , plastic bags have been banned completely since early 2002 as they were found to have been the main cause of floods during the 1988 and 1998 that submerged two-thirds of the country. In 2001, Mumbai council also eliminated the use of plastic bags to prevent them from littering the streets and clogging up the city’s sewerage system. As a result, merchants have switched to recycled paper bags and litter in the city has been reduced considerably. As consumers, we should not wait for our governments to tackle the problem of plastic bags. Change ultimately comes from everyone WAKE UP ! THERE MAY STILL BE TIME

If every human alive today consumed natural resources and emitted carbon dioxide at the same rate as the average person in the developed world, then we would need at least another two Planet Earths, if not three – WWF

Be the change you wish to See in others. So First You on your own, Stop using plastic bags and then suggest others because Good work starts from your own home.

Jammu-The Land of Cheap Leaders

0

Jammu which is known as the city of temples, should know change this name and  be called as THE LAND OF CHEAP LEADERS or rather I should say THE LAND OF CHEAP POLITICS.As per abraham lincoln,Public sentiment is everything. With public sentiment nothing can fail; without it nothing can succeed. He who molds public sentiment goes deeper than he who enacts statutes or decisions possible or impossible to execute. But here in Jammu, leaders do their best to exploit this sentiment, just for their own benefit.

A  should have some qualities like Future Focussed,Level Headed, self aware, unselfish, caring, broad minded, make practical decisions, clear vision, confident, optimistic, ready to give sacrifice for his/her followers.Does any Jammu leaders have single such quality?I hadnt found any such quality  in any leader so far.

After Amarnath’s Land Row Agitation in 2008,we can find hundreds of Leaders in every nook and corner of the Jammu Province. Are these leaders worth for anything? They are here just for politics and that too not for the welfare of Jammuities but for the well being of themselves. As per Abraham Lincoln, Politics is like You may fool all the people some of the time, you can even fool some of the people all of the time, but you cannot fool all of the people all the time. Now lets talk about the student leaders in Jammu, who claim themselves as the student’s voice. But these so called Student leaders are here just for politics and even the worst thing thing is that they are supported by the political leaders.

As per American Priest,Theodre The very essence of leadership is that you have to have vision. You can’t blow an uncertain trumpet. And these student leaders don’t have any vision and loves to blow their own trumpet.they know only two  things i.e., burning of effigies of VC of Jammu University and boycotting the Classes.Even forcibly asks other students to boycott their class even if they are not interested in their cheap Politics.

As the Final exam’s time is approaching, all these students have once again started coming out of their dens and started demanding of Open choice. These so called leaders are saying that   ‘open choice’ is their ‘’genuine demand’’ and it should be accepted by the authorities.Every year during the exams time, this shit happens.I was so sure about this too, even I clearly mentioned that in the Central University Issue article. Why cant they stop playing such foul game every year and why we follow them?

At present, this demand was only raised by JJSF(JAMMU JOINT STUDENT FEDERATION) some weeks ago.And these leaders are giving excuses that due to the late declaration of results by the university the academic session was not started in time and only 50% of their syllabus is completed.Alongwith that they didn’t forget to add one more excuse i.e.,their studies also suffered for over two months due to the agitation over the Central university issue. So their demand is very genuine and it has to be accepted.

Let me now share my experiences with Pune University,When I enrolled for Pune university,There use to be a boycott of classes due to some fee issues for few weeks.

but no one demand of open choice there because the student leaders there don’t play cheap politics as we are seing here in Jammu. As everyone must be knowing how vast engineeringsyllabus as compared to others and few weeks of boycott matters a lot and semester lasts for 4-5 months only. And one more incident, who can forget that Swine flu scare in Pune last year and whole Pune was completely shut down for 1 month completely but still no one demanded of open choice or reduction in syllabus, not even a single voice comes out.And one more thing,I don’t know in any of our semester our whole syllabus is completed but still no one asks of reduction in syllabus or like anything. But here in Jammu, everyone finds some excuses to have reduction in syllabus/open choice.

I know most of Students don’t support these leaders but why don’t they come forward and send some anonymous letters to VC that we don’t want open choice or like that.I know its difficult to come forward as these leaders enjoying the support of Big Guns Of Jammu, but there are many ways to put your voice which I mentioned before but we don’t have to forget that NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE IN THIS WORLD.If you want good future then you have to come forward and have to show these leaders a mirror.

We always say that Jammu University lacks infrastructure, exposure etc.Jammu University is having everything but the problem is that we Jammuities lacks everything.STOP SUPPORTING THESE CHEAP LEADERS.

But do remember one thing that Its your future which these leaders just for their own benefits had put on stake.think twice before joining them.Dont follow these shortcuts to get good marks.Marks is not everything in life, knowledge is everything.

Statistics show that lots of students suffer from anxiety due to the examination pressuresbut that doesnt matter you start following these shortcuts to get good marks. The more chronic ones may even turn suicidal. You must be knowing  about Bill Gates  who was among the lowest in his class in school. Now, he is the proud owner of Microsoft and creates a major impact to the world. As I said before, marks aren’t everything! It is not about failing but it is about falling and getting up again. It signifies a new beginning. The examinations not only test your IQ but also your attitude. But this open choice doesnt test anything.

Create memories that you can smile about in the future as you go through your album. And you shouldnt have to regret about anything. When you get matured and look back, maybe then, you fully understand that marks are seriously not everything.

Rest is yours Choice,Its your life and you know whats right or wrong.

Anyways all the best for your upcoming exams:)

THE MAGICAL WIND OF UDHAMPUR

30

AGGAR FIRDAUS BAROI ZAMIEAST

HAMIEAST…HAMIEAST..HAMIEAST

The above quote is quite famous and perfectly fits on Udhampur. It simply means “अगर  धरती  पर  कहीं  स्वर्ग  है  तो  यहीं  है ,यहीं  है(For me atleast).जितना  प्यारा  नाम  उतनी  ही  प्यारी जगह.I am sure many of you will agree to this,If u have ever been to this beautiful place. This is not just an article,I am going to share my own experiences which i have had till now in Udhampur.

I am basically from Ramnagar, somewhat 38 kms. from Udhampur. Before shifting to Udhampur, the only thing which i knew about this place was that I had my Maternal house here…thats it.Udhampur was totally an unknown place to me,never wanted to shift here permanantly. But destiny wanted something else,my family shifted to Udhampur in 1999.Earlier, I used to hate this place a lot,but my hatred could not last for more than a month when i started roaming here and there in the bazaars, streets of Udhampur with my school friends.

उधमपुर  की  गलियों  में  घूमना ,बाजारों  के  चक्कर  लगाना  एक  अपने  में  अलग  ही  एहसास  है  जो  मैंने  खुद  महसूस  किया  है …यह  एहसास  मुझे  आज  तक  किसी  और  भी  जगह  नहीं  मिल  पाया  है ,wherever i have been to.A walk from Sailain Talab

to Housing Colony

how can i forget that?The distance between the two places is just 3 kms.But whatever these 3 kms, give you is not less than a heaven.ओ “सुभाष  दे  कचालू ”  और  “चन्नी  दे  गोलगप्पे ”(both near Pandav mandir) ,कौन  भूला  सकता  है  उन्हें?

I must tell you guys,उधमपुर  का  सारा  crowd,be it youngsters or th Grown-ups….सब  वहां   मिलते  थे …वो  सिंह  कैफेटेरिया  की  Rs.16 की  Bread Kalarhi,जो  world में  और  कहीं  नहीं  मिल  सकती ,will i ever be able to forget the taste of it???….NEVER….वो  आदर्श  कालोनी  की  रौनक ,could it ever be forgotten????There are no pubs and discotheques in udhampur,पर  पार्टी  करने  का  मज्जा  equally ही आता  है ..in my personal view,I think pubs से  ज्यादा  मज़ा  आता  है  उधमपुर  में  enjoy   करने  का …वहां  के  छोटे  छोटे  रेस्तरां  में  I don’t know क्या  जादू  है  जो  always make me feel i can never enjoy more at any other place except for  these….

When we were small and didn’t have enough money in our pockets to spend,हम  तब  भी  उधमपुर  में  होने  का  मज़ा  उठा  सकते  थे ,क्या  नहीं  दिया  इस  जगह  ने  हमें …There is one food point in Udhampur named “LOVENEST”…It’s just a one room Restraurant but gives the best and the tastiest fast food. Now a days, I am near Chandigarh ,Even the Rs. 100 per plate of Chowmein(Hot Millions) cannot compete with the Rs. 20 per plate chowmein of Lovenest.

Udhampur has given me the memories which i can never forget. However, most of the memories are gifted to me by Army Public School,Udhampur. It is one of the biggest schools of the zone.To be honest,i really loved the local crowd of the school. They all were just so genuine, not a single line of fakeness used to appear on their faces, all were “DESI” at heart. When I was in 11th Grade, then I really saw the UDHAMPUR,thanx to my tuitions. We guys always used to reach the tuitions before time, not because we wanted to study, but to enjoy the atmosphere all around.Like, the Physics tuition was the favourite of all.It was in the famous LAMBI GALI of Udhampur. We used to park our two wheelers outside the tuition and then after sitting on our vehicles, used to enjoy the RAUNAK of lambi gali…hmmmm,LOVELY DAYS.

I don’t know what others think of Udhampur as,but what i know is that anybody who has ever been to Udhampur for atleast once especially in case of my friends who were from places outside Udhampur, they still miss this place the most in comparison to all the places wherever they have been to.I still remember one of my neighbours who had his posting in Udhampur around 7-8 years back,he still keeps saying that it is the best place he has seen so far.He keeps visiting Udhampur with his wife till now.UDHAMPUR,it truly has a magic in its wind that everybody falls in love with this place. So have I.

Today i am not currently staying in Udhampur because of my engineering course, though my parents are there only. But i still feel the breeze of Udhampur through them.

THANK YOU ALL.

BEST WISHES,

BHAAWAN GUPTA

Separation of Telangana State from Andhra Pradesh is one of the most talked issue at present in India.Central Govt. is trying its best to solve the matter as soon as possible. Andhra Pradesh consists of three distinct regions, namely, Andhra,Rayalseema and Telangana. Andhra and Rayalseema were part of Madras province of the British empire. For approximately 400 years, Telangana was part of Hyderabad State, an independent kingdom ruled by Muslim Qutub Shahi and Nizam dynasties.Andhra and Rayalaseema were separated from Madras State in 1953. Andhra state (Andhra and Rayalaseema) was the first state that was formed purely on linguistic nationality, like many European states. Later Andhra merged with Telangana in 1956, based on their linguistic and national affinity, to form the present state of Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad as the capital city.

Because of this issue, some protests started taking place demanding the separate states, in many places in India, like Bundelkhand from UP,Gaurkhaland from West Bengal,Vidarbha from Maharashtra and few more. Demand of separation of these states are increasing day by day at every nook and corner of India which is not a good sign for India. As we all know how Britishers enters India and conquered our country and ruled us for around 3 centuries.

There should be no anger or violence. You cannot expect the government or politicians to inculcate these things in you. This has to come from within you.Indian Politicians have done mastery in this field by exploting us on the name of religion, language, caste etc. First learn to love your country, your people. You can then extend this love to others. The saying, ” Janani janmabhoomishcha swargadapi gariyasi , well illustrates this sentiment. Janani (mother) and janmabhoomi (motherland) are more exaggerated than even swarg (heaven).

Lets now take our state Jammu and Kashmir for instance. There is talk of trifurcating the state into Jammu , Kashmir and Ladakh (UT status)- there is a proposal to even designate an area exclusively for the Kashmiri Pandits(idea proposed by Panun Kasmir in 1991). It is dangerous to territorially segregate Hindus, Muslims and Buddhists. Everyone knows what happened when a composite India was divided into two nations – with Pakistan becoming a Muslim nation.

But the situation in Jammu Kashmir is totally different from other states of India.Demand of trifurcating Jammu Kashmir had stated taking place in the year of 1966,when some parts of Himachal have to be merged with Jammu to form a Separate Duggar State had voiced. But somehow, this voice had disappear and now as the issue of Telangana is heating up.Voice of separate Jammu State has once again coming on the top of Desk. And the report of Working Committee which had been tabled some weeks ago has put an oil into fire,As everyone is against Autonomy, in Jammu and Ladakh.Dont know why Central Govt. is not thinking on this issue at present. Why are they Waiting for the worst time to come? Its the right to solve this issue as soon as possible.

As everyone knows,If there is a division of J&K,then there will be no doubt communal riots can take place not only in J&K but in Whole India as well which is not good for secular India. Geographical division on the basis of religion is wrong. Communal peace has to come from within. The people themselves have to realise that living together is in their common interest.

India embraces all religions, all cultures, all languages, and encourages every living thing to live under an umbrella of free thinking and grow according to their internal ability without the hindrance of man-made theory or pressures. That is the reason why India is so colorful, so vibrant and so unique.

As one of shloks(couplets) in Atharva Veda. Its rightly teaches us:-

Jammuities demanding separate state giving an excuse that there is a discrimination with Jammu. No doubt there is a discrimination with Jammu, but demand of separate state is not an answer to this problem. We talk about Identity Crisis,Yes there is an Identity crisis but who is responsible for that crisis “We” or Government or Kashmiris?

Are we (here specially Jammuities who talks of Dogra Pride) united enough to get rid of all these disciminations JK govt. are doing with us.We ourselves don’t give any respect to our culture, language etc. and blame Govt. about that.In my opinion, its crap. The respect for our own culture and language has to come inside of us.This respect neither Govt. nor Separate State wil give you.About this,I mentioned clearly in my previous article(Jammu’s Identity Crisis).

Even if we get a separate Jammu state,I Don’t see there will be any future as there is no good leader to lead us.

Most of us suffer from an Identity crisis, but we are responsible for that,You have to accept that. But we are Indians first and only after that we are Hindus, Muslims, Buddhists,Dogras,Kashmiris,Ladakhis,Punjabi or followers of any other faith. Thats why a national identity and love for the nation is important. The state of Jammu and Kashmir has for years been home to people from all these faiths and always believe in secularism. It should continue that way.But thanks to Hurriyat Conference,Pakistan supported Millitants,NC,Congress,BJP,Panthers,JSM etc..Just for their own benefits dividing us on the name of religion and language.

Each and every region of our state portrays different customs and traditions. But though we speak different languages yet we are all “JKities”.

‘Unity in Diversity’ has been the distinctive feature of our culture. To live peacefully has been our motto. There is no doubt that In India No one can claim single identity because one has many identities in India. One who demands single identity i.e. national identity and everyone has to respect and love that is INDIAN Identity.

Dr A P J Abdul Kalam points out that ” The Nation Is Bigger Than The Individual“. He believes that by loving your country, you will come to love all its constituents, regardless of caste or community.

Be United and Feel the Difference.

Jai Jammu.

Jai Hind.
